What can I expect after I request an appointment?
I will reach out to you within 48 hours of your initial request - whether you email, use the contact form on this site, or call or text me at 484-782-4590. At that time, we will schedule a free 15 minute consultation call where I will ask you a few questions to determine why you are seeking therapy. You will be able to ask me questions as well, and we can both determine if it feels like the right fit - if so, we can schedule our first full session together, as well.

How does virtual therapy work?
I currently utilize Therapy Notes therapy portal to obtain all clients’ information. Zoom, a secure video platform, is utilized for therapy sessions. I find that virtual therapy sessions are equally as effective for most people as being together in the same room. Clients continue to find these sessions most effective when treating the time and space as if we were together - please ensure you are in a safe space with limited distractions so that you can fully engage in your session.
-
How much does it cost?
Costs for therapy can vary for each person depending on their insurance coverage. I currently accept the following insurance plans:
AETNA Highmark United Health Care
If I am not accepting your insurance at this time, I am still able to work with you for a fee of $150 per session. If you have Out of Network coverage with your current insurance plan I can provide you with documentation to receive reimbursement for our sessions through your insurance provider.
It is recommended to contact your insurance provider directly to fully understand your benefits and what your cost of therapy will be.

I'm interested in EMDR, am I still able to do that virtually?
Yes. Most clients are able to obtain the same benefits of EMDR when engaging in virtual therapy. Preference of virtual EMDR therapy can be discussed at time of consultation call. There may be some instances where in person EMDR will be recommended based on the client’s presenting concerns, this will be addressed in the consultation call, or following full intake assessment.
