What is EMDR?
If you would like to determine if EMDR therapy may be beneficial for you, please request a consultation call to discuss further.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is a well researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences. EMDR allows for people to heal from identified distressing events by targeting them directly at the source. EMDR is a structured intervention, with an 8 Phase process that enables clients to become unstuck to heal their wounds. EMDR clients will also experience the transformation healing allows through a change in the emotional meaning of targeted memories and one’s beliefs about themselves.
